A young man was charged to court this morning for tearing APC Governorship Candidate, Godwin Obaseki's campaign poster after the supporters of Godwin Obaseki removed that of PDP Governorship Candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu. We will never vote for any man that will jail a fellow human being for tearing his campaign poster. We are presently in Magistrate Court 8 in Benin city.
Indeed very very serious. They have been mounting pressure on the young man to support Godwin Obaseki, the young man refused on the ground that APC government has brought untold hardship on the people of Edo State.
Godwin Obaseki cannot start to jail those he intend to govern because of campaign material.
We call on APC Governorship Candidate, Godwin Obaseki to withdraw the case filed against the young Edo son.
May God help the people of Edo from the hands of the oppressors.
